Privacy in WhatsApp support

This policy describes how Edoo Tecnologia handles the personal data of anyone who contacts us on WhatsApp, whether through the business number published on this site or through a chat link.

What data we handle

• The name and phone number used in the conversation
• The content of the messages, files and images you send
• The date and time of the interactions

We have no access to anything beyond what you send us in the conversation. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and the way it handles data follows the platform's own policies.

What we use it for

• Answering commercial and technical questions
• Recording the request in our CRM or helpdesk when the matter requires follow-up
• Supporting customers during and after the implementation
• Meeting legal obligations, where applicable

The legal basis is the performance of a contract or of preliminary procedures, compliance with a legal obligation and the legitimate interest in serving those who reach out to us.

Sharing

We do not sell or transfer your data. Conversations may be recorded in the systems we use to serve you — CRM and helpdesk — and are accessible only to the team involved in the support.

How long we keep it

Commercial conversations with no follow-up are discarded within 24 months. Customer conversations are kept throughout the contractual relationship and for the legal periods applicable afterwards.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your data, as well as withdraw consent, by writing to [email protected]. We respond within 15 days. To be removed from our contact list, just ask in the conversation itself.

Sending messages

We only send WhatsApp messages to people who contacted us or authorised the contact. We do not use mass messaging and we do not advertise through this channel.
